How long will it take to fade my tattoo?

If you are wanting to fade your tattoo to be able to recover it with further ink, you will need around 4-6 treatments. If you are wanting to mostly fade your tattoo completely you may require 8-12 treatments

How long will I need to wait in-between each treatment?

Depending on the colours in your tattoo, you will need to wait 6-12 weeks in-between each treatment.

Will it hurt?

Tattoo laser removal isn’t a comfortable treatment so we offer numbing cream at your first visit. Following this, you can pre-purchase your numbing cream and apply 1 hour before your appointment for maximum comfort.

Can I numb prior to my appointment?

Yes! In fact we encourage you to do this 1 hour prior to your appointment time. You can pre-purchase a stronger numbing cream from Baggas Pharmacy in Newcastle via the following link:

How do I prepare for tattoo removal?

Do not get sun exposure to the area to be treated for 2 weeks prior to treatment. Ensure there is no metal under or near the tattoo to be removed.

What colours cannot be removed?

Light green and light blue.

What do I need to do after each treatment?

YOU MUST USE THE SPECIFIED POST CARE CREAM WE RECOMMEND. You can pre-purchase Stratamed or Strataderm from your pharmacy prior to your appointment or purchase our tattoo TR Pro+ 10g cream for $50, whilst in the clinic. Do not use Paw Paw or Bepanthen cream as it traps the heat of treatment and may cause burns.

Ensure you can wear loose or non-friction clothing over the treated area for 5 days. You must not expose the treated area to sunlight for 2 weeks following treatment.
