Meet Nurse Jane, the heart and soul behind Nouvelle Cosmetics. With over 29 years of nursing experience, Jane has been a pillar in the cosmetic industry since 2011. Her diverse background includes roles in Surgical, Paediatrics, Intensive Care, and Westpac Retrieval Nursing, spanning across Australia and Canada. This wealth of experience, coupled with her passion for cosmetic medicine, ensures that each client receives safe, quality treatments at Nouvelle Cosmetics.
Jane's commitment to excellence doesn't stop there. She stays ahead of the curve by attending national and international cosmetics conferences, constantly refining her skill and knowledge. Jane also conducts in-house training, ensuring that her team is always up-to-date with the latest treatments.
What began as a body contouring business in 2016 has blossomed into a multi award winning Cosmetic Clinic under Jane's guidance. From cosmetic medical treatments to laser, fat freezing, pelvic floor strengthening & skin treatments and evidence based skincare, Nouvelle Cosmetics offers a comprehensive range of services to enhance your natural beauty. In 2022, Jane launched her own evidence-based skincare range called Epi Dr Skincare, inspired by the remarkable results it has achieved. 1992 Bachelor of Nursing - Diploma of Health Science
Nurse Lea's journey in nursing began at The University of Newcastle in 1992, where she completed her Nursing Degree. Her career path led her to specialise in anaesthetics and recovery, where she gained extensive knowledge and experience in acute care situations.
While Nurse Lea's passion for cosmetic and aesthetic medicine was ignited during her time abroad in London in the mid-90s, working alongside renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Erian, life took her in a different direction upon returning to Australia. She married and raised three beautiful children while continuing her nursing career in the hospital setting.
However, Nurse Lea's transition to the world of cosmetic nursing was seamless. Having known Nurse Jane since the early '90s (yes, they met at The John Hunter Hospital), Nurse Lea found her place at Nouvelle Cosmetics with ease. Known for her honest and meticulous approach, Nurse Lea thrives on connecting with her patients and supporting them on their aesthetic journey.
With a mission to empower patients by providing education and delivering optimal results, Nurse Lea stays ahead of the curve by attending national conferences and engaging in regular training sessions. This commitment ensures that her skills and knowledge continue to evolve in line with the ever-changing beauty industry.
Operations Manager
Karen is our Operations Manager and has been a cornerstone of Nouvelle Cosmetics since the beginning, playing a pivotal role behind the scenes. In 2020, she stepped into a more visible role within the clinic, where she thrives on interacting with our patients and collaborating with the team to ensure that everyone receives our exceptional Nouvelle experience.
Bringing a wealth of experience in customer service, finance, and operations, Karen seamlessly manages operational activities across all levels of Nouvelle Cosmetics. With her trusty diary and pen in hand, she ensures that everyone in the clinic remains ready and that operations run smoothly day in and day out.
Beyond her professional expertise, Karen has a deep passion for reading and is always eager for recommendations on captivating books. When she's not immersed in the pages of a good book, she treasures quality time with her husband, two daughters, and their adorable puppy. On Sundays, Karen and her family eagerly explore the vibrant offerings of Newcastle, creating cherished memories with loved ones and friends.
Reception
Kristen is a Diploma qualified Beauty Therapist with 22 years experience in the industry. She has been self employed for over 20 years and owned her own salon in Warners Bay where she managed a team of Beauty Therapists for 7 years before selling the business to raise her family. Never one to slow down Kristen has been operating a salon from her home for the past 13 years!
Kristen has a strong background in building client relationships and loves to ensure every client feels welcome.
When she isn’t busy in either of Nouvelle’s gorgeous clinics or her own salon she is out having fun with the family and living life to the fullest.
