PRP


PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) treatment works to rejuvenate the skin, particularly in areas including the face and neck. The process involves removing your own blood, spinning it to separate the plasma from the red blood cells, then injecting the plasma back into the area of concern. As a result, both collagen and elastin production are stimulated, which help to restore skin's health and fullness.



PRP Treatment

The PRP treatment works with the body's own blood to help boost an increase in collagen and elastin. As we age, both collagen and elastin production decreases which contribute to many of the key signs of aging. Collagen is a structural protein that is responsible for fresh, youthful skin that is plump and full of nutrients. Elastin is responsible for the elasticity of our skin, which loosens as we age. Together, they help to tighten and refresh the skin, combating the signs of aging through the PRP treatment.

Suitable to treat:

All Ages and skin types over the age of 18. Targeting skin that has lost elasticity and firmness such as under eyes, lower face, neck and decolletage

*Not suitable for patients with blood- related conditions such as severe anemia or Leukemia, infection or active smoker

Treatment time:

45 minutes

Downtime:

Redness, tenderness and swelling are all common and expected for 24-48 hours after your treatment. This will subside in 2-4 days. Bruising can last from 1-10 days.

Repeat treatments are required:

Every 4 weeks. Best results are seen after a minimum of 3 treatments.
